It's a damn shame that someone would steal a mans feeder. You know it had to be another hunter as no one else would have a use for it. When you find him, I hope you give him/them a good Texas arse whippin before you put his butt in jail.

I lost the motors off three feeders last year in Ozona.  I suspect the others on the lease but, you know, proof is what I need.  It is such a shame that sportsmen have to be thieves.

I had a friend that use to hunt east Texas. After his feeder was stolen the second time, he posted a sign on it, " You have f--- up my deer hunting so now I'm hunting you!

spend the $1000 on another feeder and use a mobile home anchor and chain to keep it from happening again

couldnt they just unscrew the mobile home anchor out of the ground or cut the chain with bolt cutters? One thing I have learned....If they want it, they'll get it. Only remedy I've found is monitoring who is coming on your place. Caught neighbors stealing mine by using ladder to mount game camera up a tree and out of sight. Figured if it was mounted lower or easily accessed it'd be stolen along with the feeder. Now if I'm concerned about losing equipment I have a new trick up my sleeve. Trail cams......catches glimpses of more than deer!...lol!

I think if you have a trail cam that is the way to do it. I caught a guy taking a treestand off my land.

GOOD NEWS!!!

The dirt bags were caught TONIGHT!  They came in during daylight and started loaded up on hunting equipment again.  A Sunday afternoon after the season is over is a prime theft opportunity, no one has cleared the equipment out of the field but probalby no one hunting.

They were hauled off in cuffs.
